Restorasi Kasih dan Misi Gembala: Analisis Teologis Yohanes 21:15-17

This article theologically analyzes John 21:15–17 by highlighting Peter's personal restoration, the mission of the shepherd, and its relevance to the ministry of the Church today. Through a literary and contextual approach, this research examines the structure of the text, the historical-cultural setting, and the theological meaning contained in it. The results of the study show that the three dialogues between Jesus and Peter represent a process of restoration of love, the strengthening of pastoral identity, and the responsibility of Christ-centered shepherding. The restoration of love not only atone for Peter's failures, but also the foundation for genuine, humble, and compassionate leadership. These findings suggest that spiritual restoration has a transformative dimension that prepares a leader to serve responsibly. Moreover, this text affirms that true pastoral ministry is rooted in a loving relationship with Christ and is manifested through concern for the congregation. Thus, this study affirms that restored love is the foundation for effective and humane Church service, while offering a pastoral theology model based on the restoration of love as a paradigm of contemporary Christian leadership.
